Providing education for disabled children that has grown at the VCH children care center
The Vineyard Children Home had educated various children grown at its center by supporting education and non-education materials till to they are joining to university level as well as still they were completed tertiary level. Currently, VCH had graduated 18 students by degree and certificate level from different higher institutions. While their graduation the organization had celebrated their graduation ceremony by joining at their graduation campus. Targeting Selection of street children to VCH center at Adama Town
The Vineyard Children Home (VCH) main strategic objective is to provide holistic support for vulnerable children on the street by growing them in the center and working on reintegration with their families. The organization had worked with Adama town Social and the labor affair bureau and other stakeholders for the initiation of these activities.
Providing Sport Wera Clothes for Youth in Adama Town
The organization is closely working with various government stakeholders to support children and adults reside in Adama town and other project areas. Among these VCH is closely working with Adama town Youth Association, Federation and Adama sport Bureau to enhance the capacities of youth by purchasing and providing sport clothes for foot clubs for 48 youths organized under this.
Providing and Supporting Vulnerable and Disable People with Cloth itmes
The Vineyard Children Home has ample experiences by mobilizing local grants from various sources to support different community groups affected man -made and natural disasters. Therefore, the organization had made intensive efforts to support these people who lack basic needs.Though the organization had supported elders, children, younger who had unable to attain or purchase clothes for their own and their families. In this event VCH had supported clothes for 700 individuals with full wearing clothes at Adama town.
Participating in Urban Geenification
Participating in VCH staffs and Children had participated on urban development activities at Adama town to enhance the urban growth of the town by participating children and staffs on urban greenification activities with coordination of Oromia Broadcasting Network(OBN).
Sposorship Activities
Children lost their families due to HIVAIDS and other factors as well as who their families are poorest had received sponsorship by supporting education materials, foods, health services sanitation and hygiene materials to increase their school enrollment ratios.
